Information Minister visits LoC with local, foreign media to counter Indian propaganda with facts and on-ground realities.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, visited the Line of Control (LoC) accompanied by both local and international media personnel.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting arranged the visit to counter and unveil India’s baseless propaganda.
Media teams were shown specific sites that India has falsely claimed to be terrorist hideouts.
By seeing the actual conditions, listening to locals, and observing the surroundings, the media was able to independently verify the reality behind India’s allegations.
During the visit, Minister Tarar stated that India has a pattern of making unfounded allegations against Pakistan, and that Pakistan has laid out all the facts before both national and global media.
He emphasized that the locations India refers to as terrorist camps are, in fact, ordinary civilian areas.
Tarar highlighted that Pakistan is a responsible nation dedicated to regional and global peace, and reiterated the country’s firm condemnation of terrorism in all its forms.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to defend its sovereignty under any circumstances.
Tarar urged India to address the serious human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir instead of making baseless accusations.
He said India resorts to spreading falsehoods along the LoC to distract from its internal problems, but the international media has now seen the truth on the ground.
Tarar concluded by reaffirming Pakistan’s dedication to peace in the region, while warning that any act of Indian aggression will be met with a prompt and firm response.
