A high-powered delegation comprising senior executives from over a dozen Chinese companies and firms arrive in Islamabad to assess investment opportunities in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
The delegation will engage with top government officials to explore partnerships and business prospects. The participating firms span multiple sectors including advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, electronics, aviation, satellite communications, smart technology, and mineral resources.
- All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC): Established in 1953, ACFIC functions as China’s national chamber of commerce for private enterprises. It promotes collaboration between the private sector and the government, with a focus on industrial and technological growth. The organization is closely aligned with China’s policy goals and plays a significant role in economic strategy and advocacy.
- Chamber of Commerce for High Technology and Equipment Industry: A body under ACFIC, this chamber gained prominence in 2023 and supports private enterprises in high-tech sectors. It promotes industry-government collaboration and innovation, aligning with China’s push for industrial modernization and technological advancement.
- New Energy Operations Committee of CEEMA: This committee focuses on managing the integration and maintenance of renewable energy technologies like wind, solar, and hydropower into China’s power grid infrastructure.
- China Jinhua (Yiwu) Wenzhou General Chamber of Commerce: This chamber supports Zhejiang-based enterprises and is active in developing the Pakistan-China Free Trade Zone. It fosters trade and investment ties between both nations and provides support in navigating regulatory environments.
- Precise Development (HK) Limited: A consulting firm that coordinates ACFIC’s industrial and policy linkages, serving as a central platform for commerce, technology, and advocacy efforts across multiple chambers in China.
- Xi’an Yufei Electronic Technology Co Ltd: Founded in 2015, this company develops advanced data link and communication solutions, especially for UAV systems. With 58 patents, it contributes to China’s electronic and drone communication technologies.
- Rongzhihang Information Technology (Suzhou) Co Ltd: Specializing in manufacturing and maintaining civil aircraft components like bushings and clamps, the firm plays a vital role in supporting China’s aviation industry.
- Sichuan Andy Technology Industrial Co Ltd: Established in 2000, this firm provides satellite communication and telecom solutions, including VSAT systems and drone communication tools. It collaborates with telecom giants like China Mobile.
