China and Central Asian countries have agreed to enhance cooperation in various sectors, as announced at the Sixth China-Central Asia Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
Key officials from Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan attended the meeting, underscoring the collaborative efforts in diplomacy and regional affairs.
The countries have committed to maintaining strong communication through diplomatic channels to ensure the success of the upcoming China-Central Asia Summit.
The participants reaffirmed mutual support for core interests such as sovereignty, security, and independence, and rejected foreign interference in their internal affairs.
Central Asian nations expressed their willingness to implement China’s Global Security Initiative, strengthening ties in the region.
The parties reiterated support for multilateralism and adherence to international trade rules, with all of them opposing unilateral protectionist actions.
They also committed to expanding Belt and Road cooperation, focusing on projects in infrastructure, digital connectivity, and sustainable development. They agreed to play a more prominent role in global energy and food security, as well as improving international transportation and logistics networks.
The countries reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing regional and global security, particularly in combating terrorism, extremism, separatism, and transnational crime.
