China, UAE Launch High Level Investment Committee highlighting the need to enhance economic cooperation.
Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang and UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan jointly chaired the inaugural meeting of the China-UAE high-level investment cooperation committee via video link.
Ding, a senior Chinese leader, highlighted the committee’s significance in advancing bilateral cooperation and delivering concrete outcomes.
He stated that China is committed to implementing the consensus reached by both nations’ leaders and aims to enhance the scale and efficiency of investment cooperation to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Ding encouraged both sides to maximize the committee’s leadership role, plan major projects within the Belt and Road Initiative, and promote enterprise-led innovation and expansion in diverse cooperation areas.
Sheikh Mansour affirmed the UAE’s positive view of its relationship with China, expressing confidence in China’s economic strength and pledging to deepen investment ties to harness complementary strengths and foster mutual growth.
