U.S., China, Iran, Türkiye condemn terror attack on Jaffar Express which occurred in Balochistan Province of Pakistan.
The recent terrorist attack on Pakistan’s Jaffar Express, which was carrying over 450 passengers from Quetta to Peshawar, has drawn strong condemnation from global powers.
The attack occurred in the Kacchi district, where militants seized the train and held passengers hostage, resulting in significant casualties.
The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad condemned the incident, labeling it an act of terrorism. It expressed condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirmed its support for Pakistan’s efforts to ensure the safety of its citizens, emphasizing that the Pakistani people deserve to live without fear and violence.
China also strongly denounced the attack. A spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Ministry reiterated China’s firm opposition to terrorism in all forms and pledged continued support for Pakistan in maintaining security and stability.
Turkey expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and extended condolences to the victims’ families. The Turkish Foreign Ministry also wished a swift recovery for those injured and reaffirmed its solidarity with Pakistan.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the attack, expressing sympathy with Pakistan’s government and people. Tehran reaffirmed its stance against terrorism and assured Pakistan of its support in countering extremist threats and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
As U.S., China, Iran, Türkiye condemn terror attack on Jaffar Express, Pakistan’s commitment to countering terrorism remains firm and strong. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also visited Quetta to review the security situation and called for unity and national dialogue.
