More than 230 political advisors from China’s two special administrative regions (SARs), Hong Kong and Macao, have arrived in Beijing to present their suggestions and proposals aimed at enhancing the integration of their cities into the country’s broader development framework.
Li Zhao from CGTN interviewed two members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) representing Hong Kong and Macao. They discussed ways to maximize the distinctive advantages of the SARs, with a particular focus on their financial capabilities and international connectivity.
