China advocates for an inclusive multipolar world, envoy Jiang Zaidong stated while promoting stronger cooperation in global governance.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, recently outlined China’s vision for a multipolar world, emphasizing the principles of equality, fairness, and unity in global governance.
He noted that the world is undergoing a significant transformation, characterized by rising geopolitical tensions, multiple crises, and widening gaps in peace, development, and governance, pushing the global community to a crucial turning point.
Jiang stated that a multipolar world is not just an eventual outcome but a process already underway. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to fostering a global order that is not dominated by major powers but instead upholds inclusivity and equal participation.
Reiterating China’s stance, he emphasized the need for all countries, regardless of size, to have equal rights, opportunities, and representation while advocating for non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign nations.
He also highlighted China’s strong support for the Global South, arguing that global affairs should no longer be dictated by a select few powerful nations. The fair distribution of global resources, he said, should be prioritized to ensure mutually beneficial cooperation among all nations.
China has remained a steadfast advocate for the Global South, with President Xi Jinping actively promoting stronger collaboration and unity among these nations.
Jiang further underscored the necessity of global solidarity in addressing key challenges. He emphasized that China supports a practical, solution-oriented approach that moves beyond geopolitical rivalries to enhance international cooperation.
According to him, overcoming pressing global challenges requires collective action, as protectionist policies and economic decoupling are counterproductive to global stability and progress.
