Telenor Pakistan and Huawei Partner for CBS Upgrade at MWC 2025 to boost telecom innovation and digitalization in Pakistan.
Telenor Pakistan and Huawei have entered into a Strategic Cooperation Agreement at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 to enhance Telenor Pakistan’s Communication Business Support System (CBS).
Under this partnership, Telenor Pakistan will integrate an advanced CBS to modernize its billing infrastructure, facilitating seamless compatibility with emerging digital services, real-time data processing, and improved customer experience. The upgraded system will offer enhanced stability, flexibility, and efficiency, reinforcing Telenor Pakistan’s position as a leader in telecom advancements.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Telenor Pakistan’s CEO, Khurrum Ashfaque, and Huawei Pakistan’s CEO, Sun Xiaofei, underscoring both companies’ commitment to driving innovation in the telecommunications industry.
Khurrum Ashfaque emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating that the partnership with Huawei marks a significant milestone in Telenor Pakistan’s digital transformation. By upgrading its billing system, the company aims to enhance technical capabilities, deliver a superior customer experience, and stay ahead in the evolving digital ecosystem.
Sun Xiaofei expressed his honor in working with Telenor Pakistan, highlighting that the agreement strengthens their collaboration. He assured that Huawei will provide reliable solutions for a smooth system upgrade and will continue to support Telenor Pakistan’s long-term technological development.
