Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng is set to hold a video call with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Friday evening at the invitation of the U.S., according to Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun.
Speaking at a regular press briefing, Guo stated that He, who also serves as China’s lead representative for economic and trade affairs with the U.S., will engage in discussions on key economic matters.
