Iran-Pakistan ties celebrated on Islamic Revolution Anniversary in an event hosted by Iranian Consul General in Karachi.
His Excellency Mr. Hasan Nourian, the Consul General of Iran in Karachi, hosted a grand reception at the Iranian Consulate General to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, diplomats, and officials, symbolizing the strong diplomatic ties between Iran and Pakistan.
The occasion was honored by the presence of Mr. Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, as the Chief Guest, while Sindh’s Chief Minister, Mr. Murad Ali Shah, also participated in the celebration.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Nourian highlighted the Iranian people’s perseverance in achieving the revolution and upholding its ideals despite significant challenges such as war and economic sanctions. He extended his gratitude to all the attendees for their presence and support.
The event was further marked by an address from the visiting Commander of the Iranian Navy, who emphasized Iran’s resilience and progress over the years.
Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, in his keynote speech, praised the Iranian people for their unwavering determination in overcoming hardships. On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, he extended heartfelt congratulations to the Iranian Consul General, as well as to the Iranian government and nation.
The celebrations concluded with a ceremonial cake-cutting ceremony attended by the Consul Generals of multiple countries, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Russia. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a grand dinner that showcased Iran’s renowned cultural hospitality.
The reception served as a reaffirmation of the deep-rooted friendship between Iran and Pakistan, highlighting shared values and fostering continued diplomatic cooperation.
