Pakistan showcases exports at Jeddah Business Forum, aiming to connect businesses, investors, and buyers and enhance trade ties.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, is launching a three-day Made in Pakistan Exhibition & Business Forum today (Wednesday) at the Jeddah Center for Exhibitions & Events. The event aims to showcase a wide array of Pakistani products to capitalize on the expanding Saudi market.
Saudi Arabia offers significant export potential for Pakistani businesses due to its strong consumer demand, a large expatriate population, and Vision 2030 reforms, which emphasize economic diversification and foreign investment attraction.
Pakistan has been actively working to enhance business-to-business (B2B) partnerships with Saudi Arabia. During Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit in October, both countries signed 34 MoUs and agreements valued at $2.8 billion, aiming to bolster private-sector collaboration and commercial ties.
According to TDAP, the exhibition is designed to facilitate connections between Pakistani businesses, Saudi buyers, and international investors, strengthening Pakistan’s presence in the Saudi market. The event is scheduled to run from February 5 to 7.
The exhibition will serve as a networking hub, enabling direct business interactions across key sectors such as food, textiles, engineering, and services. Pakistani exports on display will include sports goods, pharmaceuticals, processed foods, construction materials, and architectural designs, highlighting the country’s diverse industrial base.
The three-day event will feature an exhibition, B2B meetings, and industry seminars, with 135+ exhibitors representing various Pakistani industries, according to the TDAP statement.
Pakistani companies are eager to increase their share of Saudi imports, and organizers anticipate major business deals during the expo. The event is positioned as a key initiative to strengthen Pakistan’s trade footprint in the Gulf region, fostering deeper economic ties with Saudi Arabia.
