Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa conducted multiple operations, successfully eliminating ten militants.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Khulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan following reports of militant presence. During the operation, troops effectively targeted the militants, killing four of them.
In separate encounters across North Waziristan District—specifically in Datta Khel, Hassan Khel, Ghulam Khan, and Mir Ali—security forces engaged in firefights with militants. As a result, six more militants were neutralized.
These successful counterterrorism operations took place on Thursday and Friday.
During the operations, security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the eliminated militants, who had been involved in multiple terrorist attacks, including assaults on security personnel and civilian killings.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to clear the area of any remaining militants. Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism and ensuring national security.
