The 2025 Thailand-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, alongside the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo Thailand Roadshow, took place on Tuesday.
Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, stated that the Council has been dedicated to fostering economic and trade relations between China and Thailand. He expressed a desire to work with Thailand to implement agreements reached by their leaders, using the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations as a milestone to enhance business ties, boost trade cooperation, and expand investment opportunities.
Ren also invited Thai businesses to participate actively in the third China International Supply Chain Expo, with the aim of strengthening collaboration in industrial and supply chains.
Thai political and business representatives highlighted the growing success of Thailand-China cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, and technology. They emphasized their commitment to organizing delegations for the upcoming Expo to better align Thailand’s production and trade networks with China’s industrial chain and global market, driving bilateral trade and economic ties forward.
During the event, the China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation signed letters of intent with Thai enterprises and institutions to participate in the Supply Chain Expo.
The forum and roadshow were attended by more than 300 participants, including Suchart Chomklin, Thailand’s deputy minister of commerce, and representatives from various business associations and companies from both countries.
