The Tengchong Scientists Forum 2024 highlights tech innovation which kicked off in China’s Yunnan Province and brought together experts from around the globe.
The Tengchong Scientists Forum 2024 officially began on Friday in Tengchong, located in Southwest China’s Yunnan province, as reported by the Yunnan Daily.
This year’s forum, themed Science: Global Innovation and the Mission of Scientists — Empowering High-quality Development, is a collaborative effort between the Yunnan provincial government and the China Association for Science and Technology.
The event features an opening ceremony, a keynote forum, 11 sub-forums, and 9 related activities, according to the report.
The forum will also include a variety of events centered on topics such as higher education, artificial intelligence, biodiversity, modern agriculture, and international cooperation in intellectual property innovation.
Attendees include Nobel Prize winners, academicians, expert scholars, and prominent business leaders, highlighting the forum’s global and interdisciplinary significance.
