The exhibition showcases 30 photographs, a gift from the Pakistani Embassy to the CICCC. These images were taken by a Chinese travel delegation during their 2023 trip to Pakistan, offering a visual journey through the stunning landscapes of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, as well as the ancient Taxila ruins and Buddhist relics, which reflect the historical connections between China and Pakistan.
During the event, Long Yuxiang, executive chairman of the CICCC, met with Khalil Hashmi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, to discuss strengthening cooperation in culture, trade, and other key areas of mutual interest between the two nations.
Long shared plans for the CICCC to send a delegation to Pakistan, aiming to host various cultural, artistic, and economic exchange activities. The delegation will also bring Chinese theatrical performances to Pakistan, allowing the Pakistani people to experience China’s rich traditional culture. Additionally, Pakistani art troupes will be invited to perform in China, enriching the cultural experience for Chinese audiences.
As 2026 will mark the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations, the CICCC is eager to work with the Pakistani Embassy in China to enhance cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
