Xi Jinping arrives for a state visit in Brazil on Tuesday.
Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Brasilia on Tuesday for an official state visit to Brazil.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Rui Costa, the Chief of Staff of the Brazilian Presidency, and several other high-ranking Brazilian officials.
Xi was greeted with lively drumbeats by the Batala band, a local all-female group, who were dressed in traditional attire and full of energy.
After attending the 19th G20 Leaders’ Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Xi made his way to Brasilia for the next leg of his visit.
