President Xi urges Hubei to write its own chapter in Chinese modernization while he was on an inspection tour of the province.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on Hubei Province in central China to advance the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, accelerate its transformation into a strategic center for the rise of central China, and contribute to the country’s modernization goals.
Xi, who is also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made these comments during his inspection tour of the province from Monday to Wednesday.
