Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his 73rd birthday, reaffirming China’s commitment to strengthening its strategic cooperation with Pakistan.

In his message, Xi conveyed heartfelt wishes to Shehbaz, emphasizing the strong strategic partnership that has endured through various global challenges.
President Xi praised the unwavering trust and support between the two nations despite changing international dynamics.
Reflecting on Shehbaz’s successful June visit to China, Xi mentioned that several agreements were made and expressed eagerness to continue working with him on promoting the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other collaborative projects.
Additionally, Xi wished Shehbaz good health and success, reaffirming his commitment to enhancing cooperation in diverse fields and advancing the China-Pakistan community of shared destiny.
Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz extended his congratulations to the Chinese people and leadership on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
During China’s National Day Reception in Islamabad, Shehbaz expressed his gratitude to China for its support during tough times, acknowledging that meeting the IMF’s conditions would have been much harder without China’s assistance.
