Recently constructed South China Exhibition and Trading Center also called Huafa Exhibition Center Gwadar is all set to be functional. It gears up the holding of “3rd edition of Gwadar Investment and Expo Forum on the subject of Blue Economy and Petrochemical Industry soon.
Two months back then Prime Minister Shahabz Sharif had inaugurated the Center located in Gwadar Port facing Gwadar Business Center.
Preparations in this regard are on the go and it is highly likely that function will mark official operationalism of Huafa Exhibition Center Gwadar.
In this connection, China Overseas Ports Holding Company, operator of Gwadar Port, is under process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding with E-commerce Gateway Pakistan (pvt) Ltd to co-organize and manage the event.
The agenda will be to promote blue economy and petrochemical industry in Gwadar Free Zone and the region. The first and second editions of Gwadar Expo were held in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Afterwards, the process was interrupted by the outbreak of COVID-19. This would be the first of its kind mega-event in Gwadar in post-COVID era.
