Pakistan and China have come to a mutual agreement to accelerate the projects within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) across Pakistan.
The understanding was reached ruing meeting between Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Chinese Charge d’ Affaires Pang Chunxue in Islamabad today.
Both sides highlighted that CPEC projects have reached a significant milestone in fostering economic growth, infrastructure development, and regional connectivity over the past decade. During the meeting, the Planning Minister highlighted various ongoing projects related to energy, power, and infrastructure. He also reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to completing these projects within the designated timeframe.
