The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar reported that, as of 11:00 Beijing time (03:00 GMT) on Wednesday, a major earthquake in Myanmar had led to the deaths of six Chinese nationals and left 13 others injured.
According to a statement from Myanmar’s State Administration Council’s Information Team, the death toll from the 7.9-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar has risen to 3,645, with 5,017 people injured and 148 still unaccounted for, as of 6:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
