In a significant move to boost China-Pakistan technology collaboration, 23 Pakistani IT firms took part in the “Tree of SCO” Computing Power Training in Beijing from September 1 to 7, 2024.
Organized by the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT), the training featured visits to key tech hubs and B2B meetings with Chinese companies, enhancing business ties and potential partnerships, according to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of IT and Telecom.
The training covered topics such as China’s digital economy development, AI, healthcare data pricing strategies, trusted data sharing, and the Internet of Vehicles, among others.
The Pakistani embassy, in collaboration with CAICT and the China-SCO Big Data Center, facilitated B2B meetings between Pakistani and Chinese companies. Participants also attended the ODCC Summit 2024, where they interacted with over 20 Chinese firms to explore potential cooperation.
