Eleven Indian-sponsored Khwarij militants were killed and seven others injured during an intelligence-based operation carried out by Pakistani security forces in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan District.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation targeted members of the Indian proxy group known as Fitna al Khwarij, based on credible intelligence.
During the operation, Pakistani troops successfully engaged the Khwarij hideout with precision and effectiveness.
Tragically, in the heavy exchange of fire, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, who was leading the operation from the front, embraced martyrdom alongside Lance Naik Jibran Ullah. Both soldiers fought with exceptional bravery.
Major Moiz was widely respected for his fearless leadership and had played a key role in numerous successful operations against the Khwarij.
A follow-up sanitization operation is underway to ensure that no remaining Indian-sponsored militants are left in the area.
Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their mission to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism, and the sacrifices of these brave soldiers only reinforce their unwavering commitment to national security.
