Similarly, at the Third Plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee in July 2024, expanding international science and technology exchanges and cooperation were proposed in the S&T structural reforms.
Zhongguancun World Leading Science and Technology Park
In recent years, Beijing’s Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science & Technology Park in the Haidian district has experienced significant growth, becoming a hub for companies driving innovation in China’s AI industry. Gong Ruinan, the head of the park’s operating team, stated that the park prioritizes the advancement of strategic emerging industries, including new-generation information technology, biomedicine, new energy, new materials, and artificial intelligence.
Moreover, it is known as “China’s Silicon Valley,” and hosts a diverse range of high-tech companies and startups specializing in strategic emerging industries, including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, new energy, and information technology.
