China charity foundation-funded Chatter Kiass Girls’ School unveiled

In a significant milestone showcasing the enduring friendship and cooperation between China and Pakistan, the Government Girls High School Chatter Kiass underwent a remarkable renovation.

Funded by the Beijing One Heart Sphere Charity Foundation and the China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Community, this renovation project heralds a new era in the education of female students in the region.

Situated in a rural area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the school has undergone a transformative journey from a dilapidated facility to a modern and thriving educational center.

The renovation efforts encompassed the reconstruction of classrooms and essential facilities, coupled with the provision of new furniture, equipment, and educational materials.

With the completion of the renovation, the school has welcomed its first cohort of over 200 girls from nearby communities, offering them a secure and conducive environment for their educational pursuits.

The curriculum at the renovated school will cover a wide array of basic subjects, including mathematics and humanities, with the aim of equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in today’s society.

The opening of the renovated school is anticipated to expand access to quality education for more girls in the region, enabling them to realize their full potential and contribute to the development of AJK.

Looking ahead, the China-Pakistan charity organization remains committed to its educational initiatives, with a focus on enhancing educational facilities and opportunities for girls not only in Pakistan but also beyond its borders.
