Dubai has officially opened a new trade office in Karachi to enhance bilateral trade and investment relations with Pakistan. The office is part of Dubai Chambers’ global initiative to expand international business networks and support companies exploring key markets. The inauguration ceremony was attended by UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi and leading figures from Pakistan’s business community. Dubai Chambers’ President, Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, highlighted the office’s role in facilitating investment and strengthening trade links between the two countries. Pakistan’s trade relations with Dubai have grown rapidly in recent years, with non-oil trade exceeding PKR 1.74 trillion in 2024. The new office will provide valuable market intelligence, connect businesses with trusted partners, and help navigate regulatory and commercial processes efficiently. Beyond assisting Pakistani firms seeking opportunities in Dubai, the office will guide Dubai-based companies planning to invest in Pakistan. This initiative is expected to drive stronger economic collaboration, open new investment avenues, and foster sustainable growth for both markets.
